PENTA Research
PENTA has a fully integrated clinical research site located within our Winston-Salem office. Our goal is to advance health care and provide novel therapies for our patients by conducting clinical research trials. We conduct Phase I, II, III, and IV trials in the areas of allergy/asthma, ear, nose, and throat, cosmeceuticals, ENT surgical procedures, plastic surgery procedures, device, audiology, and hearing healthcare.
Information for our Volunteers
Volunteer participation in clinical studies remains essential to the successful development of new and better medications. All studies are overseen by an experienced research physician who monitors you throughout your participation in the trial and every trial in the US requires approval and monitoring by an Institutional Review Board. If you are eligible for a trial you will receive study exams and study intervention at no charge to you. You are not required to have health insurance to participate. You may be compensated for your time and travel. Our patients come first, our research staff and physicians are here for you if you have any questions or concerns. For further information on clinical trials you may visit: centerwatch.com or clinicaltrials.gov
Special attention is placed on recruitment and retention. We have experienced and motivated clinical research investigators and 110,000 patients in our practice database.
